Steps
1Inspect all caulked areas (tubs, showers, sinks, countertops, windows, and exterior doors).
2Look for cracks, gaps, peeling or mold growth.
3Gently press on the caulk to check for softness or seperation.
4Remove damaged caulk completely with the utility knife.
5Clean the caulked areas to remove dirt or mildew for better visibility.
6Allow the surface to dry completely.
7Load the caulk tube into the caulk gun.
8Apply a steady, even bead of caulk along the joint.
9Smooth the caulk with a finger or caulk smoothing tool.
10Allow to fully cure.
